Tasting notes

The tasting notes summarise my experience with a product. They explain what is in the box, how it looks, smells, feels and tastes. This is not a classic review where I explain where I got it, who offered it or what the occasion was. Rather, I focus on the product. I try to describe this as clearly as possible.
The tasting notes are tagged according to product type:

The tasting

I usually don't eat prior to preparing tasting notes. But I will have some apple and plain water immediately before. Both is said to clear the palate but not to leave an aftertaste. Under these conditions, some notes may come out that would be covered in normal eating. The food that you just had interacts with everything that comes afterwards. For example, you should start with the lighter chocolate and move on to the darker ones. An extreme case of interaction is fish and chocolate. You can try some dark chocolate right after having fish. This would usually bring out the sweetness to the extreme.
The categories are detailed here.
